Afikim Productions was established in 1983 in Kibbutz Afikim in the Jordan Valley, located 3 km south of the Sea of Galilee on Route 90/ Company activity focuses on the production of nature documentary films, in particular the nature of Israel. The geographical location of Israel at the point where the three continents of Europe, Asia and Africa meet creates a number of different climate areas and within these climates we find a fascinating variety of flora and fauna characteristic of these three continents. Most of the nature documentaries produced by Afikim Productions were in collaboration or for major television networks such as National Geographic, Discovery, ASA, BBC, NHK – Japan, E.O. – Holland, Marathon – France. Millions of people all over the world view Israeli nature via Afikim Productions documentaries.
